This is a great book written by someone who obviously knows what he's talking about. While you can find a lot of information on websites, it's not always categorized in an order that suits the beginning ham. I tried using apps but all they have is the 400 question pool repeated over and over again. I didn't want to just pass the test by memorizing the answers... I wanted to understand the concepts involved. I haven't finished the book yet but it has answered a lot of questions for me about frequencies about what you say when you are on the radio, and the actual electronics behind the test questions, which I'm just starting to learn.I was going to be ready for a test April 11th which unfortunately was canceled due to Coronavirus. So I'm going to be in a situation where I'm all dressed up and no place to go. hopefully the FCC will address this issue and enough radio clothes will come together to figure out a no-cheat way to give this exam over the internet.On a decent web guy and programmer so if anyone wants to get together with me about doing just that contact Lynch tech NY at Gmail dot com.
